Software Innovation Announces Release of Coreworx 6 New version includes move to .NET services architecture Houston, Texas – January 23, 2006 - Software Innovation, a leading provider of project collaboration solutions for large capital projects, today announced at the Daratech PLANT2006 conference a new release of their Coreworx™ solution. The new release will have general availability later in Q1 2006 but will be demonstrated at the Daratech PLANT conference. Coreworx Project Collaboration is a comprehensive solution to enhance the design, construction and maintenance of capital projects. The solution provides a range of functionality including collaboration, document control, transmittal management, change order management, view/markup, interface management, workflow and other functions designed specifically to support the needs of capital projects. A key aspect of the new release is the move to a Microsoft .NET services architecture. “Moving to a .NET architecture gives us a lot of additional power and flexibility in both design and implementation of the Coreworx solution,” says Ray Simonson, Chief Technology Officer of Software Innovation. “We already provide a wide range of functionality in the product and the new architecture will allow us to deliver that functionality to our clients quickly, easily, and in the format that they require. This will only increase our ability to help EPCs and Owner/Operators succeed in their capital project activities.” About Software Innovation |
