Sirific Wireless Leverages Leadership Position: Adds Russell Johnsen and John Stockton to Board of Directors

Santa Rosa, California -- Sirific Wireless Corporation, an innovator of single-chip multi-mode direct conversion CMOS RF transceivers for GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA and WLAN, is pleased to announce the election of Russell K. Johnsen and John Stockton to its Board of Directors.

About Russell K. Johnsen
Russ Johnsen is the President of Delumina, Inc., a technology, investment and strategy consulting firm. He is also the CEO of AgileView Software, Inc., a start-up company developing enterprise level applications using Microsoft .NET. Previously, Mr. Johnsen managed the cellular wireless and high-speed broadband wireline communications businesses at Analog Devices, where he held the titles Vice President and General Manager of the Communications Products Division, as well as Vice President of Corporate Business Development. Prior to Analog Devices, he was the General Manager of the Wide Area Networks Division for National Semiconductor Corporation, and the co-founder of National Semiconductor’s Wireless Communications product line.
Mr. Johnsen currently serves as a Director for Mercury Computer Systems, Inc. and Sirific Wireless, as well as two other venture-backed start-up semiconductor companies.
About John Stockton
John Stockton is a semiconductor industry consultant focusing on development-stage companies in the fields of semiconductors, portable computing, and peripheral and display technologies. Prior to his consulting activity, Mr. Stockton served as Chairman and Interim CEO of ARC International plc, CEO of Synergy Semiconductor, and CEO of Stream Machine. He also co-founded sVISION and Tamarack Storage Devices. Mr. Stockton’s other career highlights include being a VLSI-Fellow at VLSI Technology, Inc., where he helped create the PC Chip-Set Division, organizing the founding of ARM Ltd., a UK-based processor design and intellectual property licensing company, and being a member of the Motorola MC68000 design and marketing teams.
Mr. Stockton currently works with a variety of venture capital funds, including Mayfield Fund, Hunt Ventures and TVM. He also serves as a Director for Sirific Wireless, Atreris, Theseus Logic and DAFCA.
